Come on boys keep it up

Two boys selected from PIFA to represent Maharasthra for India Trials U-16.

Harshad Meher (GK) & Ajit Bhoir (Defender) players from PIFA Colaba Youngstar FC that was just promoted in their 1st year to Super Division have been called for the AIFF Indian team Under-16 trials to be held in February.

Only 3 boys were selected from Maharastra.

Harshad Meher (GK) played for PIFA Colaba Youngstar, was elected the best goal keeper at the recently concluded MDFA MFL Senior division tournament.

Ajit Bhoir (defender) was elected the best player of the tournament at the MDFA Mumbai Zonals for team PIFA-Colaba Zone.
Both these young players have been regular starters in the PIFA- CYFC team and have contributed to the teams success.

Coach & Director of PIFA Mr Nirvan Shah quotes "We are proud of these boys. The boys have worked hard and have quickly adapted to the PIFA training methods. Their success is due to their ability to understand the game and what their responsibility is on the field."

The final Indian team should be going to Germany for further training.
